I always thought it’d be fun to have a funny licence plate (mine is just a boring jumble of letters and numbers) so I enjoyed these vanity plates from around the country- and Canada! They’re funny and creative (and some are a little non-PC)
This first one is a hearse-
There are some more funny licence plates here. Which one is your favorite?
Happy Halloween weekend everyone!
How cute are these doggies in costume? They were all at the Tompkins Square Annual Halloween Dog Parade.
Mr. T (he’s a French bulldog not a boxer- shame on you ABC News!)
Double decker tour bus

Someone told me yesterday that Christmas is only 90 days away. Insane! Fortunately for you, I already have the perfect stocking stuffer- this World’s Best Father 2013 Calendar, aka funniest calendar I’ve seen in a while.
Dave Engledow started taking creative pictures with his daughter Alice Bee when she was born. What started out as a whim quickly turned into an ongoing photo project. Dave portrays a parody of the father he would never want to become–”distracted, self-absorbed, neglectful, clueless, or even occasionally overbearing.”
Here are some of my favorite pictures-
There are over 50 pictures in the series, so definitely check out his facebook page if you want to see more. Which picture was your favorite?
Ah the 80′s. A simpler time when getting dressed meant throwing a large t-shirt over some leggings, and doing your hair meant finishing off a bottle of hair spray…. times were simpler then. And judging by these AMAZING pictures of mall-goers in 1989, a lot more entertaining.
Look at this hair!
Do people still get letters in high school?
So much to love here. Man tanks, quasi mullets, black sneaks…perfection.
This picture is amazing. First of all, what the heck is Tape World? I’m guessing like Blockbuster only exclusively with VHS tapes? Also make sure to notice the handsome devil in the background, in the tiny shorts and mustache.
Flannel and a dad in denim on denim. Dad’s jeans are a pretty dark wash for the 80′s. He was ahead of his time!
If you want to see a lot more amazing pictures, check them out here. What was your favorite 80′s fashion statement?
I thought this was hilarious- and kind of true (lol Dracula)
There is also Europe according to the British:
And, of course, the French:
And finally, Europe according to the Swiss:
Which one is your favorite? I think I like the French one the best, it’s so ridiculous! Check out bigger pictures here.
Remember when I told you about the sheep who thinks he’s a dog?
Well, take a look at this duck who plays fetch! He’s so cute!
Whew it’s been a while since I last posted. Sorry! I have the usual excuses- work got busy, life got crazy- but the good news is I’m back! And will try to be more regular about my postings.
On to important things- I found an awesome video you should see. Behold, Geronimo the double dutching doggie!
Doesn’t he look so happy? Can you double dutch? I was pretty terrible at it when I was younger- jumping in was always hard! Do kids these days even jump rope anymore?
Happy hump day!
This video will bring some cuteness into your life- it’s a puppy stampede! The picture is misleading….so just watch the vid!
Don’t you want to scoop one of these little guys up? When they’re all charging at full speed my heart just melts!
Oh yes, it’s time for another quiz! With the Super Bowl only days away, you need to find out ASAP which Patriot player you’re most like.
Hurry- click here! Who’d you get? I got Vince Wilfork. Large and in charge!
Are you cheering for the Patriots or the Giants on Sunday? I’m not usually a Pats fan but since the Giants beat the Packers, I think I’m going to have to side with New England this time. Either way, it should be a great game.
I’m also hoping the commercials are fun. I think they fell a little short last year although this Bridgestone “Reply All” one was epic!
